Clients can file a complaint or obtain information regarding an existing agreement via <a href=\"mailto:hello@fourfive.be\">hello@fourfive.be<\/a>. Complaints need to be addressed to a partner. Please find an overview of our Four &amp; Five partners at our <a href=\"https:\/\/fourfive.be\/en\/team\/\">teampage<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the event of a dispute, you also have the right to file a complaint with the \u201cOmbudsdienst Consumentengeschillen Advocatuur\u201d (OCA), the certified entity for out of court settlement of disputes between lawyers and clients regarding services rendered by a lawyer. The OCA is located at Staatsbladsstraat 8, 1000 Brussels. Complaints are preferably filed online by using the electronic complaint form at <a href=\"http:\/\/oca.ligeca.be\/en\/\">http:\/\/oca.ligeca.be\/en\/<\/a>. Please also consult this link for additional information regarding the OCA.<\/p>\n<p>However, we would appreciate the chance to resolve any complaint amicably and to address your concerns directly before you approach the OCA. We kindly request you to contact us in first instance.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Deontological rules<\/span><br \/>\nFour &amp; Five\u2019s lawyers are authorised to practise law in Belgium and registered and enrolled at one or more of the following bars and professional organisations in Belgium:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The bar association of the province of Antwerp: www.balieantwerpen.be, subject to i.a. the code of conduct and deontological rules of the Orde van Vlaamse Balies available at www.advocaat.be;<\/li>\n<li>The bar association of the province of West Flanders: www.baliewestvlaanderen.be; subject to i.a. the code of conduct and deontological rules of the Orde van Vlaamse Balies available at www.advocaat.be;<\/li>\n<li>The Dutch-speaking association of the Brussels bar: www.baliebrussel.be, subject to i.a. the code of conduct and deontological rules of the Orde van Vlaamse Balies available at www.advocaat.be; and<\/li>\n<li>The French-speaking association of the Brussels bar: www.barreaubruxelles.be, subject to i.a. the code of conduct of and the deontological rules of the Ordre des barreaux francophones et germanophone de Belgique, available at www.avocats.be.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The relevant codes of conduct and deontological rules can be consulted on the aforementioned websites.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Anti-money laundering and identification requirements<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Four &amp; Five is subject to the scope of the Law of 18 September 2017 on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing and on the restriction of the use of cash, aimed at i.a. combatting money laundering and the finance of terrorism. Under these rules, Four &amp; Five is obliged to comply with a duty of client identification and due diligence regarding the client, their agent(s) and their ultimate beneficiary\/ies.<\/p>\n<p>The client acknowledges its obligation to cooperate in this respect and to provide, upon first request, all information and documents required. If this information were to change during the term within which services are provided, then Four &amp; Five is to be informed immediately Four &amp; Five reserves the right to suspend or stop any and all services, in accordance with applicable legislation, when no or insufficient information is provided or when doubts arise regarding the accuracy of the information provided. Such suspension or cessation of services entails no liability whatsoever on the part of Four &amp; Five and in no sense affects the services already performed and billable. The client accepts that the costs and fees for services performed within the framework of the obligations set out in the anti-money laundering legislation will be charged.<\/p>\n<p>When Four &amp; Five suspect the client from being involved in money laundering or terrorist financing, it must immediately report this to the president of their bar association, except when their activities are part of a defense or representation in a legal action. The aforementioned, does not prejudice Four &amp; Five\u2019s professional secrecy obligations governing the client \u2013 attorney relationship. Please note that the president of the bar association will decide whether the Financial Intelligence Processing Unit must be informed about any suspicion.<\/p>\n<h2>Terms and conditions<\/h2>\n<p>Four &amp; Five\u2019s general terms and conditions apply to all its services and are available in Dutch, French and English.
